The Herbster Campground is a wonderful little city-run campsite on the beaches of Lake Superior’s south shore. Enjoy hiking, fishing, wild flowers and world class bird watching. Winter sports include: snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and mushing. They all await you on the Bayfield Peninsula.

It is located Just off Hwy 13 on Bark Point Rd. Take a left when you reach the town of Herbster and follow the road. you can’t miss it.

The Town of Clover Boat Launch is located just five minutes away on Bark Point Road. This 1st class launch gives access to Lake Superior for watercraft, large or small. $5.00 per day or $35.00 per season.
