Sugar Beach is located on the north shore of Lake Superior and has become a favorite destination of families for generations. Our cabins and lake homes provide the quiet warmth and beautiful atmosphere everyone seeks for their vacation getaway.

With over 1,000 feet of rugged, picturesque shoreline to explore, Sugar Beach is a treasure trove of breathtaking vistas, tranquility and ample privacy to enjoy year-round.

We have twelve rental units. Many of our accommodations are located as close to Lake Superior as the lake allows; others have a lake view or forest setting. Each has its own special character. All are furnished with kitchen amenities, bed linens and towels.

Sugar Beach Resort is in the town of Tofte, 83 miles from Duluth, MN, located on the lake side of Highway 61, just past the ranger station as you drive into Tofte.
