Croftville Road Cottages is conveniently located just 3 miles from downtown Grand Marais on the lakeside of scenic Croftville Road known as the “walking road”.
Set 80 feet from Lake Superior and nestled on 540-ft of rocky shoreline, Croftville Road Cottages are owned and operated by the Chmelik family. Open since 2007, the cottages are impeccably clean and meticulously maintained.
Come relax by a fire. Hike along the beach. Enjoy the ever-changing sights and sounds of the lake. Lake Superior provides the gentle sound of breaking waves hitting the shore and a spectacular view of Superior. Paths from the cottages lead to a stairway that provides easy access to the rocky beach. In front of each cottage is a fire circle with comfortable seating and a charcoal grill; each day’s supply of firewood is stocked on the entry porch. Water is supplied to the cottages from an artesian well that provides excellent water for drinking.
