One of the main attractions along the North Shore, and Part of the Gooseberry Falls State Park, are the falls that stretch up the side of the ridge line, from the highway to back much further than most venture. Stop at the beautiful wayside rest area and take some time to walk the easy to moderate to difficult path along the Gooseberry river if you have time. You’ll find a wondrous and less populated area as you move further into the forest up stream.
