Captain Dave Koneczny was introduced to Lake Superior fishing during the summer of 1954. As a young boy, fishing with both father and friends, he gained the much needed experience. Through the years, those skills have been honed. Today, Dave shares his knowledge and experiences with his customers. Dave is the owner/operator of the KDK Charter Service, his full-time business. Nothing short of excellence is his goal as you fish for:
- Lake Trout
- Coho Salmon
- Chinook Salmon
- Rainbow (Steelhead)
Dave holds a Coast Guard license and is a licensed guide in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dave is a member of the Western Lake Superior Trolling Association, North Shore Charter Captains Association, Superior Charter Captains Dock Association and the Minnesota Sportfishing Congress. Dave devotes many hours to representing the recreational sportfishing community.
