If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable room that’s easy on the budget and just a stone’s throw from the hub of downtown, reserve your room at the Mangy Moose.  They’re located on Highway 61 and 1st Ave East (one block east of the traffic light), which is just a short walk to your favorite shops, restaurants and bars; and only one block from a stroll along Lake Superior.

At the Mangy Moose you’ll find that just out the front door is one of the largest fresh-water lakes in the world; out back is one of the nation’s finest wilderness areas. In addition, there are a variety of goings-on in the town of Grand Marais throughout the year.

All rooms are non-smoking for your comfort and health (and because Dave used to work in the field of Public Health). Rooms feature Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with cable, private bathroom, microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker.
